The fine Diamante Bianco del Ticino DOC is a real jewel, the result of passion and attention to detail of the Delea company. It comes from a careful selection and choice of the best white grapes Chardonnay, Müller Thurgau and Sauvignon Blanc from Canton Ticino.
Fermentation takes place in new 300-litre French oak barriques; ageing on the lees continues for about 10 months and, once this period has passed, blending takes place in stainless steel tanks, where the second stage of ageing continues for about 12 months, with regular "Bâtonnage".
Straw yellow in colour with greenish highlights, it has an intense aroma of citrus fruits, yellow flowers and hints of vanilla and aromatic herbs. The palate is broad and mineral, warm and enveloping with floral, vanilla and citrus notes. Excellent with fresh cheeses, fish and shellfish, as well as white meats.
